Huzhou, China, October 2021, the world’s advanced PV manufacturer, Zhejiang Beyondsun Green Energy Technology Co., Ltd. (“Beyondsun” or the “Company”), recently announced that its DuDrive UltraMax 210 module series have completed the full set of reliability tests conducted by the third-party testing and certification organization VDE Germany, and successfully obtained full range of certificates, including IEC 61215, IEC 61730, PID test, salt mist test, ammonia test. This marks a major breakthrough made by Beyondsun in the field of 210 ultra-high power module reliability, which is also another important milestone in the company’s development. Since then, Beyondsun has become one of the few photovoltaic module suppliers in the industry that has obtained the full range of VDE certification for both 182 and 210 modules series.
In VDE’s PID test according to IEC TS 62804-1:2015 standard, Beyondsun DuDrive UltraMax modules have been continuously tested for 192 hours in an environment of 85°C high temperature, 85% relative humidity and 1500V high voltage, and the power degradation is lee than 1%, which is far below the standard of ≤5%. At the same time, DuDrive UltraMax modules also successfully passed IEC 61701:2011, severity 6 corrosive salt mist test and IEC 62716:2013 ammonia resistance test. The test results show that Beyondsun DuDrive UltraMax modules fully meet the highest requirements of the IEC standards, and can maintain very excellent product performance in the natural environment represented by the test.
The DuDrive UltraMax series is a new generation of high-efficiency photovoltaic modules specifically designed for C&I and large-scale utility projects. The product combines 210 mm gallium-doped silicon wafer, multi-busbar technology, non-destructive laser cutting and other technologies together. The power output of DuDrive UltraMax with 66 cells exceeds 655W in mass production, with module efficiency exceeds 21.1%, which can significantly reduce the LCOE. Also, with advantages of good system adaptability and high reliability, it can meet the diversified needs of global customers. In the first quarter of 2022, Beyondsun’s new 3 GW module intelligent manufacturing plant will be officially put into operation. The products line will fully cover the 182 and 210 single-glass and double-glass series, and the company’s competitiveness will be further improved.
