Recently, Trunsun Solar, the global leading PV module manufacturer, announced that its 3MW medium-sized ground project in South Korea has officially entered the construction phase.
This project can be regarded as another achievement that Trunsun has achieved in the ground project in the Korean market. In this construction, Trunsun cooperates with the local experienced EPC, Solar Tech, to provide customers with high-quality one-stop service.
The project is located in Suncheon Oeseo-myeon, South Korea, with a project size of 3MW. The completion of the project has positive significance for the promotion and application of single-crystal PERC high-efficiency components in the Korean market and the development of local renewable energy.
In response to local land resources and lighting characteristics, Trunsun provides TSM-72 series 370W high-efficiency PV modules for the project. This series of PV modules is one of the products of Trunsun that has obtained KS certification earlier, with excellent performance in terms of high conversion rate and high efficiency.
South Korea’s new energy market is growing steadily every year. It is expected to exceed 2.5 GW of installed capacity in 19 years. The Korean market is also regarded as one of the most powerful positions for the company’s growth in the future. In mid-2019, South Korea identified The Third Energy Basic Plan (2019-2040), which aims to expand the share of renewable energy in the country’s power structure to 30%-35% in 2040. Supported by the policy, the Korean PV market is also attracting attention in the international market.
Katherine Gao, sales VP of Trunsun Solar, said: “I’m pleased that our high-efficiency, high-quality component products are once again recognized by the Korean market. This is another milestone in our business strategy of Korea. It also proves that we are developing the Korean market correctly. In the meantime, we will improve the product quality, upgrade services, and continue to provide higher quality products and services to customers in Korea and Asia Pacific.”
